Job Title: Director, Investment Analysis-Feasibility

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Salary: $169,757 per year Your day to day Prepare underwriting for development opportunities (franchised and managed), including, on occasion, underwriting for company managed hotels / owned hotels. Position will report to the Head of Feasibility. The role will co-ordinate the work of other team members. Prepare underwriting for deals – both franchised (top line only) and managed deals (full P&L). Allocate work to team and perform initial review of their underwriting. Work closely with the development team and update underwriting based on reviews by multiple stakeholders. Include results into Capital Papers which are then reviewed by VP Finance and SVP Finance, prior to being presented to the Regional Review Committee. What we need from you Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality Administration or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of work related experience in hotel development and acquisitions, with demonstrated proficiency in underwriting. 1 year managing teams and/or complex projects and proven decision-making skills in order to achieve development objectives. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality Administration or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of work-related experience in hotel development and acquisitions, with demonstrated proficiency in underwriting. 1 year managing teams and/or complex projects and proven decision-making skills in order to achieve development objectives in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience. The position requires the following: In-depth knowledge of financial principles and underwriting techniques for franchised deals; in-depth knowledge of underwriting techniques for managed deals, including understanding hotel P&Ls; fluent with hotel industry terms including RevPAR, ADR and occupancy; experience in leading and developing people; effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to developers (internal and external stakeholders); ability to present a persuasive argument to managers, and to challenge and influence others; ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects. Position can telecommute from home from any location in the U.S. Supervises at least 3 employees.
