The Director of Sales will scale the sales organization, drive consistent growth across multiple business units, and oversee regional sales performance.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Key responsibilities
Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing regional sales team to achieve and exceed annual revenue goals. Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting major metro markets, ensuring alignment with overall company growth objectives. Manage pipeline development, forecasting, and reporting to provide accurate visibility into performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and marketing to deliver client-centric solutions. Build strong relationships with enterprise and national accounts, ensuring retention and expansion opportunities. Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and cost structures to inform pricing strategy and contract negotiations. Represent the organization at industry events and associations to strengthen market presence and brand visibility. Qualifications
5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a proven record in contract security or a related B2B service sector. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-state sales teams and consistently exceed revenue goals. Strong understanding of national account dynamics, statutory/union cost structures, and multi-state operations. Hands-on Salesforce (or similar CRM) expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting. Strong financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin control, and contract negotiations. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Bachelor\'s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred. Willingness to travel to support regional teams, client engagements, and industry events. Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.
