Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

to join our executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in accounting, tax strategy, and financial planning to help us build a strong fiscal foundation and guide our next stage of growth. This is a pivotal role for a forward-thinking finance leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that support Fire Shield’s mission, long-term goals, and regional expansion.

Accounting & Compliance: Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and tax requirements.

Tax Planning & Filing: Manage all aspects of corporate taxation and develop strategies to optimize tax efficiency.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, financial modeling, and long-term forecasting to inform operational decisions.

Cash Flow & Capital Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and investment planning.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present clear financial reports to the CEO and executive team; collaborate on growth strategies and risk management.

Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team; implement systems and tools that enhance accuracy, transparency, and scalability.

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with leadership across departments to align financial planning with business operations and service expansion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)

10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including time as CFO or senior controller

Proven experience in tax compliance, reporting, and multi-entity structures

Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP tools, and operational analytics

Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Experience in construction, service-based industries, or regulatory compliance is a plus
