We are seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing operations at our student housing apartment community, and successfully drive the property leasing efforts by showcasing the community and providing excellent customer service to current and future residents. The Leasing Manager plays a critical role in achieving occupancy goals, leading and motivating the leasing team, ensuring excellent customer service, and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise, train, and motivate leasing consultants to deliver high performance and professional service. Work closely with the team to maximize revenue, occupancy, resident, and retention goals. Generate traffic, participate in outreach marketing, execute marketing plans, think outside the box to drive leasing efforts to hit leasing goals. Lease and renew beds/apartments, generate leases, follow new lease and renewal procedures. Tour prospective residents, provide information on property amenities and services, create excitement and desire to live in the community. Communicate with residents and prospective residents in person or via phone, text, email, social media and online sources. Assist office visitors ensuring their needs are met. Respond quicky to inquiries questions and concerns from residents and prospects. Participate in and host fun community events. Report accurate daily, weekly and monthly leasing activity. Provide exemplary customer service to residents, prospectives and visitors. Create a fun and positive environment for residents. Enforce community policies. Assist in leading, developing and training the leasing team. Assist in the annual move out/turnover/move in process as well as prepare for inspections. Assist with administrative and office needs. All other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications Property Student Housing Leasing experience required. High school degree. Computer skills, knowledge of Entrata required. Strong marketing skills, outgoing, self-starter, creative. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of student housing leasing apartments. Ability to continually close on prospects and lease apartments. Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to communicate, read, write in English; bi-lingual a plus. Must communicate ideas and information in an organized, clear, and concise manner, both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service skills. Able to build rapport, make genuine connections and create an exciting environment. Pleasant attitude to all prospects, residents and associates. Ability to handle interpersonal situations. Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner while prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously. Strong commitment to company goals and values. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Work Schedule: Work hours are scheduled around the requirements of the property and are subject to change as needed. Regular schedule may include weekend hours.
