A new real-time
Consumer Simulator
is being launched to help users and partners understand the impact of financial behaviors on credit scores. At the core of this initiative is a powerful
API platform
enabling seamless simulation capabilities across web applications, external partner integrations, and internal tools.
This role is for a
Technical Product Manager
with deep experience in API products. The focus is on owning the end-to-end delivery of API infrastructure powering credit simulations — from design to partner integration to performance monitoring.
What You’ll Do Define and own the
API product roadmap , requirements, and lifecycle. Design and document
RESTful APIs
that support simulation logic and credit behavior models. Collaborate with engineering and data science to translate complex models into real-time, API-based simulations. Establish best practices for API
versioning ,
authentication ,
error handling , and
rate limiting . Build and evolve the
developer experience : documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), SDKs, test environments, onboarding workflows. Support external fintech and financial institution integrations with product and technical guidance. Define and track API
usage metrics ,
SLAs , and
performance benchmarks . Prioritize technical debt, bug fixes, and new functionality through agile sprint planning.
What You Bring 4+ years in
product management , with at least 2 years directly owning APIs as a product. Strong understanding of
API design
(REST, JSON, OAuth, pagination, etc.). Experience working with
backend systems ,
data pipelines , or
simulation engines . Hands-on experience with tools like
Postman ,
Swagger/OpenAPI , or
Apigee . Proven ability to collaborate with engineers on
technical architecture
and scalability challenges.
Nice to Have Background in
fintech ,
credit analytics , or
consumer finance products . Familiarity with modern cloud and development stacks (e.g.,
AWS ,
Python ). Exposure to credit scoring or financial simulation models.
