The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Must Have Structural Engineering Across cross-disciplinary coordination Linear and Nonlinear Structural Analysis

REQUIRED SKILLS: • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering • 7+ years’ experience in structural design for industrial or commercial projects • 5+ years of experience with the design of Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Hospitals, Schools, or highly complex Commercial Tower facilities. -Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards, including IBC & ASCE -Experience in design and calculation for auxiliary framing systems used to support cable tray, conduit, ductwork, etc -Experience in design & review of non-structural components and non-building structures -Experience in Construction Administration

SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED -Use expertise to assist in quality control milestone reviews. -Provide calculations on thermal movement -Provide calculations on differential movement -Assist in creating details -Perform linear & non-linear structural analyses using structural software such as ETABS and other -work with architects, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, civil engineers, fire protection engineers, and others. -Review Shop Drawings and submittals -Track RFIs across builds and regions, and provide data-driven recommended responses.

PREFERRED SKILLS • Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering. PE or SE Engineering license. • Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of DCs. Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards, including IBC and ASCE. • Solid working proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite. Detailed understanding of tilt-up and precast concrete structures, structural steel systems, seismic design, wind loading, snow loading, and forensic analysis of building design and construction defects. • Experience in value engineering for building structural systems. Design and calculation for auxiliary framing systems used to support cable tray, conduit, ductwork, etc. Design and review of non-structural components and non-building structures • Ability to evaluate the constructability of new technologies and determine construction methods of data center equipment and facilities. To perform and present a business case analysis. Ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find innovative solutions prior to and during the construction process to reduce costs without negative impacts on quality or reliability.
