Akkodis is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for a 6 months Contract position with a client located in Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

Pay Range: $22- $33/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to provide timely and effective support to end users across a variety of technical issues. This role is critical to maintaining seamless operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person requests.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Windows, Linux, and basic scripting.

• Document, track, and monitor incidents to ensure timely resolution.

• Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.

• Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform job functions.

• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a related field preferred.

• 0-2 years of experience in technical support or a related area.

• Familiarity with commonly-used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills:

• VMware administration

• Windows and Linux system administration

• Basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)

• Customer service and support experience
