Role Overview
We are seeking an
Assistant Lead Stylist & Client Consultant
to join our New York team. This role is focused on working one-on-one with clients, guiding them through gown selection, fittings, and custom design consultations while supporting the Creative Director and Lead Stylist in managing client relationships and in-house styling. The ideal candidate combines fashion expertise with exceptional client service and sales skills. Key Responsibilities Assist Lead Stylist in conducting client consultations for bridal, eveningwear, and couture gowns. Provide personalized styling advice and recommend gown options that reflect each client's vision and the brand's aesthetic. Support fittings by ensuring gowns are properly prepared, styled, and pinned for alterations. Maintain knowledge of current and past collections to guide clients with confidence. Collaborate with atelier, alterations, and sales teams to ensure seamless client experiences. Assist in managing appointments, follow-ups, and client communications. Uphold the luxury retail experience in the showroom, ensuring impeccable presentation of gowns and accessories. Track and manage client preferences, alterations, and orders in coordination with the Lead Stylist. Contribute to in-store events and private appointments. Preferred Skills & Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in
luxury bridal, eveningwear, or couture client services
(styling/consulting/sales). Strong knowledge of
gown construction, fabric, and fit
to guide client selections and fittings. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset. Proven ability to support sales through styling and client consultation. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional, polished presence with sensitivity to working with VIP clients.
