Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will be a key member of the FP&A team within our client’s Finance organization, supporting Retail and eBusiness. The candidate will be focused on cultivating financial information, providing analysis on the data, and team with the Senior Director of Finance in delivering the results to the business leaders. A key to the success of the position will be the ability to work with the Senior Director of Finance and the business leaders to provide analytical answers and solutions to on-going strategies and initiatives. Span of work will include pricing analysis, customer/SKUs profitability, providing financial insights / trends / recommendations, forecasting, planning, ROI. The position will work closely with Sales and Operations, Marketing and Finance in driving growth of sales and EBITDA. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with Sales, Operation, Marketing, and Commercial teams to deliver financial insights that support growth and performance. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for commercial functions. Analyze variances, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, margins, customer profitability, and market trends. Assess sales and product profitability to identify improvement opportunities and maintain healthy margins. Provide financial guidance on pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and customer proposals. Work with marketing and the business in developing and tracking pricing strategies Monitor and manage commercial spending, ensuring alignment with budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate new initiatives, promotions, and market expansion opportunities. Ensure finance activities comply with internal controls, company policies, and relevant financial regulations. Drive process improvements and automation in financial reporting and planning tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. Utilize SAP, Business Objects, and other databases to obtain information critical to evaluating P&L performance versus targets Handle ad-hoc financial requests and analysis in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 6+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or commercial finance roles (Consumer finance experience preferred) Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial systems, ERP, BI tools, and advanced Excel (Experience with SAP, Business Objects preferred). ROI analysis abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Compensation:
$115,000 - $130,000 + Bonus SE:
