Asset Manager
to join our client, a privately-owned real estate company specializing in the development and construction of market-rate apartments.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all new lease-ups and operating assets and manage third-party property managers. Oversee preparation of operating budgets for all properties. Review monthly property financial statements. Prepare quarterly cash flow projections for operating properties. Assist in developing unit pricing and operating expense budgets for all new developments. Assist in asset positioning, project design, and marketing strategy for each property. Prepare weekly presentations on leasing and property operations (internal). Oversee all leasing activities. Manage asset sales processes. Communicate with investor asset managers. Manage property tax appeals process for each asset (coordinating with property tax consultants). Provide market and product type knowledge for targeted markets.
Our client is rapidly growing and has a current development pipeline exceeding $1 billion, with active projects in key urban markets across the country. They are looking for a results-driven professional with:
Bachelor’s degree and/or graduate degree in an applicable business-related field. 3+ years of experience in property or asset management. In-depth knowledge of multi-family (ideally luxury apartments). Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Yardi, Yieldstar and RealPage software and reports.
