Desired Skills and Experience 3+ years experience in commercial or estimating/cost modeling Manage the bid process from solicitation to project award / turnover Ability to perform conceptual estimates with quantity takeoffs Ability to work and communicate directly with project owners and organization administrators Detail oriented and the ability to work multiple estimates at once

Responsibilities This full-time, on-site role is key to ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial construction projects The Estimator will leverage field experience and union trade knowledge to develop comprehensive bids, collaborating closely with operations and field teams Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for industrial construction projects Consult with engineers, field personnel, and trades to gather data for accurate cost estimation Collaborate with project managers to align estimates with execution plans Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or safety
