Lab Technician needed!
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and scientifically driven Quality Lab Technician to support our laboratory operations with a focus on raw material testing. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity and compliance of incoming materials used in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, hands-on experience with analytical testing, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials in accordance with established protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines. Utilize analytical instruments such as pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers, and other lab equipment to conduct tests. Document test results accurately and promptly in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems. Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods as needed. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of equipment. Support investigations related to out-of-specification results and deviations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
Qualifications: ~ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline. ~1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical manufacturing environment. ~ Familiarity with raw material specifications and testing procedures. ~ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ~ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. ~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
