A nationally ranked electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-volume hyperscale data center builds in Iowa. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, procurement, and field coordination.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of electrical scope from preconstruction through commissioning Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and contract administration Coordinate with field leadership, GCs, trades, and clients to drive project execution Lead submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost controls Ensure code compliance, QA/QC standards, and client specifications are met Support BIM coordination, equipment logistics, and installation planning Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and reporting Work closely with internal teams to forecast labor, material, and risk exposure
Required Skills & Experience: 7–10+ years of electrical construction project management experience Track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or data center projects ($50M+) Strong understanding of electrical systems, code, and mission-critical infrastructure Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) Skilled in budgeting, change management, and client communication
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hyperscale clients or high-density MEP coordination Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field OSHA 30 and PMP or other certifications a plus Willingness to travel or rotate on-site in Iowa during peak project phases
