Responsibilities Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee daily food preparation and cooking operations, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting dietary department requirements. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximize profitability. Collaborate with catering teams for special events and functions, ensuring seamless execution of service. Train and mentor kitchen staff on food handling techniques, cooking methods, and shift management practices. Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to enhance productivity and quality. Qualifications Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, catering services, and kitchen operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food production processes. Familiarity with dietary department regulations and requirements is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests alike.
