Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, driving both the strategic vision and day-to-day financial operations of a rapidly expanding retail and distribution company. This hands-on role oversees Finance, Accounting, IT, and Strategy while partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team.
The ideal candidate will bring
extensive M&A experience, including billion-dollar transactions , as well as a proven track record of
managing 10 or more entities simultaneously . Prior
CFO experience in the retail industry with multi-location operations
is essential.
CPA license
is required, ensuring the technical and professional expertise to lead in a complex, growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of Finance and Accounting, including reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management Drive strategic planning, investment evaluation, and M&A initiatives Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements Partner with the CEO and leadership team to guide business growth and decision-making Lead and develop the Finance team while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability Qualifications Proven experience in the retail industry is required 15+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance Prior CFO or equivalent senior finance leadership experience in growth-oriented businesses CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification strongly preferred Strategic thinker with strong hands-on execution ability Experience in multi-location operations or distribution is a strong plus
