raffic / Transportation Engineer to join their growing Transportation practice. You will perform traffic & parking studies, transportation studies, traffic management and roadway designs across multiple market sectors including; healthcare, sports, commerical office, retail, mixed-use etc.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and planners to deliver high-quality traffic and transportation design solutions for public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities: Performing planning and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering, land development and infrastructure projects. Prepare traffic impact studies, transportation analyses and safety studies. Develop traffic models and simulations using SYNCHRO, HCS, etc. Support the design and analysis of roadway improvements. Assist on draft proposals and engineering documentation. Supervise the work of junior engineers
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Current EIT required OR Professional Engineer (PE) license. 3+ years of experience in transportation / traffic engineering. Profiency with software such as Synchro, HCS etc. A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and lead junior engineers.
