We're looking for an experienced
AC & Refrigeration Technician
to join our team in the Orlando area. This is a field-based role perfect for a skilled professional with a passion for safety, quality, and technical precision. You'll work on essential commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems for a variety of clients, including fast-food restaurants, in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair
commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, reach-ins, and AC units. Diagnose and troubleshoot
mechanical and electrical issues to perform efficient, high-quality repairs. Conduct preventive maintenance
and routine inspections to maximize system performance and longevity. Keep detailed service records
of diagnostics, parts, and future recommendations. Ensure compliance
with all safety, environmental, and building codes. Coordinate with other technicians
and facility staff to minimize disruptions. Stay updated
on evolving technologies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 3-5 years of hands-on experience
with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. EPA Section 608 Certification
and a valid HVAC license. Proficient understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Availability for after-hours, weekend, and on-call rotation. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Fluency in English. Technical degree or trade school certification in HVAC is required.
Schedule & Compensation Salary Range:
$51,000 - $54,000 Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week. This role includes early mornings, on-call nights, and weekends. Overtime is expected, and you'll receive double-time pay on holidays. Travel:
Commuting between job sites is required. Gas expenses are covered.
