About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Composite Quality Inspector

to join our team in supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting composite components and assemblies to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of composite parts, assemblies, and subassemblies using precision measuring tools and equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify product compliance. Conduct inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process, including in-process, final, and receiving inspections. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Identify and report non-conformances, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective action implementation. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality standards. Support internal and external audits as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in quality inspection within aerospace, defense, or composite manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of composite materials, layup techniques, and curing processes. Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs. Familiarity with GD&T, blueprint reading, and quality documentation. Working knowledge of AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic or radiographic inspection.
