Kelly is seeking Maintenance Electricians for a direct hire opportunity for a industrial manufacturing plant in Bridgeview, IL
Pay is $38 per hour and position comes with full time benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 3 weeks of PTO, 401K match up to 6%, etc. (all starts a month after you start). Position would come with a $2000 sign on bonus as well! Some OT would be involved.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift are all available however you would train on 3rd shift for approximately 6 months.
1st shift - 6:30a to 2:30p Mon-Fri 2nd shift - 2:30p to 10:30p Mon-Fri (plus $.65 shift diff) 3rd shift - 10:30p to 6:30a Sun-Thurs (plus $.85 shift diff)
In this role, you will be performing maintenance in a steel mill. You will be working on production equipment that is used to make steel strappings. You will be troubleshooting electrical (up to 3 phase/480V), motors and pumps, older PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. You will be working with older production equipment that requires a hands-on, practical approach.
You must provide your own basic tool set (ratchets, sockets, etc) and steel toes are required. Welding experience is a plus as well but not required.
The four key functions of this role are: 1. Electrical Systems Knowledge • Installation, maintenance, and repair of motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels. • Understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. • Have experience in 480 Volts 2. PLC & Automation • Troubleshooting and programming of PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) – not a requirement but it will be ideal if the possess this skill set • Familiarity with HMI systems and industrial automation. 3. Instrumentation & Controls • Calibration and maintenance of sensors, controllers, and instrumentation. • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motor control systems. 4. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance • Conducting routine inspections and diagnostics
