Work Location: Seattle, WA, 98101 Job Type: Temporary Assignment Duration: 3+ Months Job Type: Hybrid. Monday to Thursday in the office - Friday from home, - not flexible. Shift: 8 AM/9 AM - 4.30/5.30 PM Payrate:$ 30.00 - 30.00/hr.

The below job opportunity is to one of Our clients Who is a fashion specialty retailer founded on a simple idea: offer each customer the best possible service, quality, value, and selection. We are looking for an individual to provide specialized Information Technology support for our strategic business partners within the client Corporate Center.
Job Description: The ideal candidate can competently use Microsoft Tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. This person is also comfortable with using (or learning to use) transportation management system (TMS) software to execute shipments, manage exceptions, communicate with stakeholders, and pull meaning from data. We want someone who is motivated, results oriented, committed to providing outstanding customer service, and is interested in learning more about the movement of goods in a retail environment. This position is primarily responsible for booking freight (truckload, intermodal, less than truckload) from our US based suppliers into client distribution and fulfillment centers (DCs and FCs) and ensuring this freight delivers on time and in full. A day in the life… Plan and execute booking of inbound shipments in the TMS Monitor freight movement to ensure deliveries are on time and in full Troubleshooting configuration and User Acces for TMS Partner with stakeholders within the supplier community, carrier network, distribution centers, and merchandising to maintain flow of goods Work closely with other members of the Domestic First Mile Transportation team to maximize operational efficiencies and cost savings Skills: You own this if you have… 1-2 years of basic transportation knowledge - 1-2 years of working with the TMS (Transportation Management Systems - Manhattan preferred, but any is good!)
