Comfort Systems USA Southeast
As an HVAC Installer, you will work with our mechanical projects team to complete commercial mechanical equipment change out, retrofit and installation projects. Typical projects include installation, replacements and retrofits of HVAC equipment, sheet metal / ductwork, piping and other related materials and systems. Our areas of responsibility include primarily Savannah, GA but extend to Charleston, SC and Jacksonville, FL as needed.
Compensation
Wage Range Starting at: $25.00+/hr based on qualifications & experience.
Job Duties
Retrofit and installation of commercial HVAC equipment including RTU, chillers and split systems ranging from 1-2000 tons (most frequently under 200 tons).
Repair and / or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
Installation of other HVAC systems including duct and electrical wiring
Field fabrication of duct as required by the project
Complete required electronic reports and documentation daily on a handheld device
Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame
Operate company vehicle to complete projects within a specified territory
Requirements 4 or more years of experience with commercial HVAC equipment retrofit and installation projects EPA Type II certification required (Universal certification preferred) OSHA 10 certification (the company will provide if needed during first week) Experience with hot water and chilled water systems preferred Experience with high and low voltage wiring of commercial HVAC equipment required Experience with ductwork and sheet metal required Experience and proficiency with brazing and soldering required Experience and certification in welding highly desired

Must be able to work independently with and without supervision Ability to pass full background screening, MVR and drug screening Ability to travel out of town, as needed
