About the Role My client is actively seeking a
Safety Manager
with proven experience in
commercial construction
to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a proactive, hands-on safety professional with a strong understanding of industry standards and the ability to lead safety programs across multiple project types, including
K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Mission-Critical
builds.
Key Responsibilities Lead and enforce jobsite safety programs in alignment with OSHA and company standards
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments across active sites
Develop and facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training
Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement corrective and preventive actions
Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and leadership to promote a strong safety culture
Maintain accurate safety documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in construction safety management
OSHA 500 certification required
Project experience in K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare, or Mission-Critical sectors is preferred
In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and industry best practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with safety and construction software such as Procore or Bluebeam
