Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Electrical Superintendent
to lead field operations for electrical construction projects in Wilmington, NC. This individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical crews, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving projects to successful, on-time completion. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all on-site electrical operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, codes, and safety regulations. Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Monitor project schedules and budgets; proactively address issues that may delay timelines or increase costs. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are available. Conduct daily job site inspections for safety, quality, and progress. Maintain accurate job site records, including progress reports, field logs, and time sheets. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety policies. Participate in project planning meetings and provide feedback on constructability and sequencing. Train and mentor field staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
