Position: Senior Electrical Estimator Location: Houston, TX We are seeking a highly skilled senior electrical estimator with a strong background in large-scale commercial projects. This is a critical role requiring precision, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex estimates simultaneously. Onsite presence is mandatory — this is not a remote or hybrid role. Minimum Requirements (All Must Be Met): 5–7 years of experience estimating large-scale commercial electrical projects Proficiency in Accubid Anywhere Proven ability to develop budgets from schematic design and conceptual phases through construction development with minimal variance unless impacted by design intent changes Strong analytical skills to assess and communicate risk Experience training and mentoring other estimators and interns Clear, professional communication skills, particularly with clients and general contractors Ability to manage multiple estimates at once Experience estimating projects ranging from $5M to over $100M Familiarity with diverse project types, including: Healthcare Tenant Improvements (TI) Data Centers Ground-Up Commercial Construction Capable of assisting GCs with: Cost-driving decisions Value engineering (VE) Alternative pricing to specifications Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and manage detailed electrical estimates throughout all project phases Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with design intent Provide value-driven feedback and alternatives to enhance cost-efficiency without compromising design Guide junior team members through technical training and mentorship Support strategic business development through high-quality, competitive bid preparation Application Requirements: Resume Project resume highlighting awarded projects, including: Project names Scope of work Contract value Market type (Healthcare, TI, Data Center, etc.) Bid type (Hard bid, negotiated, design-assist, etc.)
