About the Role We are seeking a
Facilities Maintenance Engineer
with strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical/industrial equipment and utilities. The role involves
maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair
of facility systems and manufacturing equipment in compliance with
cGMP standards
. This position supports reliability, continuous improvement, and safe operations across the plant.
Key Responsibilities Perform
preventive and corrective maintenance
of manufacturing and facility equipment. Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler, and water systems
. Support
installation and commissioning
of new equipment and utilities. Operate and maintain
Building Management Systems (BMS)
and respond to alarms. Perform
carpentry and facility upkeep
(walls, doors, drywall, painting, etc.). Conduct investigations and prepare reports for deviations, CAPAs, and change controls. Ensure compliance with
cGMP, GDP, and safety procedures
. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for calibration, utilities, and facility services. Document maintenance work accurately in SAP and other tracking systems. Participate in
compliance and regulatory inspections

Qualifications High School Diploma/GED
with at least
3 years’ experience
in mechanical/electrical maintenance in a pharmaceutical or industrial setting required. Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering (Pharmaceutical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related) preferred. Minimum
5 years’ experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment
. Strong knowledge of
HVAC systems, BMS, DI water, utilities, and facility systems
. Experience with
pharma machinery and utilities
preferred. SAP experience a plus. Ability to read and interpret
technical blueprints, SOPs, and equipment manuals
. Effective communication and organizational skills. Must be able to lift
35 lbs
and work in a
fast-paced, regulated environment
.
