is partnering with a leading General Contractor seeking a
Superintendent
to oversee field execution on complex life sciences projects, including laboratories, cleanrooms, and cGMP facilities. This role is critical in ensuring construction excellence, safety, and compliance while managing the delivery of highly technical, regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities Supervise daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, craft labor, and self-perform crews. Work closely with Project Managers, architects, and engineers to align logistics, sequencing, and material procurement. Ensure all work complies with design documents, regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, cGMP), and project schedules. Lead QA/QC efforts on cleanrooms, MEP-intensive systems, and specialized equipment installations. Conduct site meetings, safety briefings, and trade coordination sessions. Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and issue logs for leadership and client stakeholders. Drive commissioning readiness and turnover milestones, collaborating with validation teams. Mentor junior field staff and develop strong trade partner relationships.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience. 6+ years in field supervision; 3+ years as Superintendent on commercial, healthcare, or life sciences projects. Experience with cleanroom builds, cGMP facilities, or other highly regulated environments required. Strong MEP coordination experience; knowledge of commissioning and validation processes a plus. Proficiency with scheduling/documentation tools (P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, etc.). OSHA 30 preferred; willingness to travel to active project sites.
