Fuller Group, LLC is looking for motivated individuals interested in drafting of structural framing systems for commercial buildings across all sectors of the built environment. Fuller is a growing firm, located in Greenville, SC, with a relaxed office atmosphere in need of additional drafting support in order to fulfill the growing needs of our clients. This position will be full time, and located at our Greenville, SC office.

Responsibilities As part of the design team, the Structural Engineering Drafter will be responsible for the preparation of construction drawings for projects including, but not limited to, structural plans, sections and details for industrial, commercial office, healthcare, educational and retail projects. Essential functions (may include but are not limited to): Perform drafting duties under the direction of the Project Engineer and/or Principal in Charge Support the engineering team with CAD/Revit/BIM knowledge. Create plans independently and under direction from senior staff. Maintain project drawing files. Complete red line mark-ups and address design comments. Organize and prepare a variety of complex layouts and drawings from written or verbal specifications or from rough detailed sketches. Work with the Project Engineer and/or Principal in Charge within project workflow to establish and maintain consistent graphic standards on individual assigned project established by the client, firm, and industry. Recommend details and notations to meet specialized needs of a particular project, or to facilitate or improve CAD/Revit productivity. Maintain current knowledge of design and drafting procedures in specialty field. Use basic quantity and geometry calculations in creation of drawings. Communicate with architectural clients as required to coordinate drafting efforts between disciplines Produce quality drawings on a consistent basis and within the constraints of a given project schedule
Job Qualifications Advanced understanding of AutoCAD/Revit and drafting knowledge, including knowledge of BIM, applying BIM to working models, working with templates, etc. Knowledge of primary building systems on commercial projects is required- foundations, primary building structure of floors, walls, ceilings and roof systems. Any knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as it relates to coordination with structural framing is a plus Experience with structural components and building elements with the ability to layout and detail in AutoCAD/Revit. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and clients. Ability to organize work, set priorities, pay attention to detail, and follow-up on assignments with minimal supervision. Knowledge of correct English usage including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.
