Overview
We are seeking experienced Fiber Technicians to support upcoming infrastructure projects. This role involves hands-on fiber splicing, cabling, and related technical work in support of large-scale deployments. Candidates should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-changing project environment.

Responsibilities
Perform fiber splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting for both aerial and underground fiber optic systems.
Read and interpret fiber optic network design plans, construction drawings, and splicing diagrams.
Operate fiber test equipment (OTDR, power meter, fiber identifier, etc.) to verify and document performance.
Install, dress, and secure fiber optic cabling in a variety of environments, including data centers and field locations.
Ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications for quality and safety.
Collaborate with project managers, cabling teams, and on-site crews to deliver on project milestones.
Document splicing records, test results, and as-built diagrams accurately for project deliverables.
Support both initial splicing activities and potential on-site technician/data center support phases.
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing.
Proficiency with fiber optic tools and testing equipment (fusion splicers, OTDR, power meters).
Understanding of fiber optic color codes, cable construction, and industry standards.
Ability to work independently or with a small crew in field environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel as required.
OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications preferred.
Previous experience supporting large-scale telecom or data center clients is a plus.
