Full Time – Project Based 9-12 months. Location:
Project Site Anaheim CA 92801 As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall execution and delivery of substation construction projects—ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with utilities, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Note: This position is for a contracted project that is 9-12 months long. Once the project is over there is potential for a permanent Project Manager position.
Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of substation construction projects (12kV–500kV). Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and resource plans. Manage subcontractors, vendors, field staff, and engineering support. Oversee project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost control. Ensure compliance with utility standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies. Maintain strong communication with clients, inspectors, and regulatory authorities. Conduct progress meetings and report project status to internal leadership and stakeholders.
S. in Electrical, Civil, or Construction Engineering preferred—or equivalent field experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5–10 years
of experience managing substation or utility-scale electrical projects. Strong understanding of transmission, distribution, and high-voltage electrical construction practices. Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.). Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and people effectively. PMP certification or PE license is a plus. Valid driver’s license and ability to reliably commute to site daily.
