Position Overview: Brooksource Engineering Services is seeking four Expert Maintenance Technicians to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing partner in the Durham, NC area. This is a 12-month contract opportunity focused on providing maintenance expertise in a clean room environment supporting parenteral manufacturing department- including fillers, autoclaves, parts cleaners, inspection equipment, isolators, and more.

In this role you will be provide maintenance expertise to service, repair, and maintain pharmaceutical process manufacturing equipment in a GMP regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities: Perform timely and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and increase overall equipment effectiveness in a production environment by condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting in engineering changes. Possess good mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment while following department regulations. Prioritize safety and adhere to all applicable safety procedures and practices. Conduct and document preventive maintenance activities per provided instructions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servo motors, HMIs, sensors, and other electro-mechanical systems. Diagnose and resolve machine issues such as excessive vibration, temperature anomalies, bearing failures, and performance degradation. Operate precision alignment equipment (roma-align, lasers, etc.) Repair and overhaul equipment including gearboxes, pumps, blowers, fans, and drives, ensuring proper tolerances and alignment. Accurately document maintenance actions in the CMMS system. Assist in areas outside of primary responsibility and develop additional technical skills as needed.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience. Must pass background check and drug screening. Preferred Skills & Experience: Multi-craft maintenance technician experience (minimum 3 years). Familiarity with automated equipment (Fanuc robots, servo motors, etc.) Experience with filling equipment such as autoclaves and isolators. Proficiency in English (spoken, read, and written) for technical and business communication. Competency in software tools such as Maximo, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in GMP/pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Physical ability to work around equipment, climb ladders/stairs, and use PPE. Hands-on experience with equipment repair and basic troubleshooting tools (e.g., multimeters, calipers). Prior experience with highly automated equipment.

Additional Information: Overtime may be required during shutdowns, emergencies, or peak workloads. Work involves exposure to potentially hazardous equipment, powders, liquids, and gases. Safety is a top priority. This is a
