Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job ***** The Radiologic Assistant assists the X-Ray and MRI Technologist as they perform procedures on patients of all ages to provide physicians with data for diagnostic purposes. The Radiologic Assistant helps in the delivery of patients to the diagnostic and MRI sections. Core Responsibilities and Essential ***** Performs Diagnostic X-Ray imaging while adhering to department protocol and standards and applies the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others. Transports patients to the Diagnostic ER X-Ray and MRI sections. Uses Positive Patient Identification when retriving and transporting patients for radiologic studies. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct. Required Minimum ***** High School Diploma General or GED Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
