Position Overview We are seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead and oversee field operations across multiple industrial project sites in the Freeport, TX area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable execution of projects while building strong teams and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and client expectations. Manage labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources across projects. Collaborate with project managers, safety personnel, and executive leadership to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance and continuous improvement. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Lead, mentor, and develop field leadership and operations teams. Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in operations management within industrial construction or contracting. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management and operational software. Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or related field. Certification in operations management or a relevant field Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards Experience in petrochemical, refining, or heavy industrial sectors.
Working Conditions Based in Freeport, TX, with frequent travel to job sites in the region. Office and field-based work must be comfortable in industrial environments (e.g., refineries, plants, construction zones). Flexible schedule with occasional evening or weekend work based on project needs.
