Key responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students to identify learning needs and provide recommendations
Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Monitoring student progress and adjusting support plans as necessary to promote positive outcomes
Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
Assisting with data collection and compliance documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Michigan
Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings
Strong knowledge of educational assessment tools and special education laws
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage mixed caseloads effectively and prioritize tasks
