A K-12 school in Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support students throughout the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role involves working closely with educators, parents, and students to provide psychological assessments, interventions, and support services aimed at promoting student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
Analyze student data to inform educational planning and decision-making.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and interpreting results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
