Project Manager — Specialty Drywall Contractor

We’re growing and hiring a Project Manager —an early-career role designed for someone ready to learn the fundamentals of project delivery while being mentored by senior leaders.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing construction projects while learning from experienced teammates. You will:
- Support the management of assigned projects under the guidance of senior project managers.
- Work toward bringing projects in on time and under budget .
- Attend and learn from key project meetings (preconstruction through closeout).
- Conduct weekly site visits and participate in jobsite meetings.
- Assist with aligning project schedules and coordinating with operations teams.
- Build relationships with clients through clear communication and follow-through.
- Learn project financials, including budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
- Assist with billing, change orders, and contract management in Plexxis .
- Write and track RFIs, submittals, and procurement logs with mentorship.
- Provide basic field support: safety, QA/QC, deliveries, and coordination with other trades.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–5 years of experience in construction, preferably in project management or a related role.
- Basic understanding of construction workflows; drywall experience is a plus .
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn Plexxis and OST/QuickBid .
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator, eager to learn and contribute to a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
