Pay Rate: $50.00/hr to $57.00/hr on W2
Location: Bellevue, WA
- This is an engineering program management position responsible for logistics and tactical communication between Client product engineering team and external partner contact.
- The applicant must be a team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and have an aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Must have a passion for product engineering and ability to drive solutions across various engineering teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Communicate issue status to management
• Define and manage key product deliverables/schedules and driving cross functional activities
• Drive customer samples execution and high-volume manufacturing readiness, once silicon arrives
• Work closely with our North America Engineering and Operations counterparts (extensive interactions within the Product Engineering organization)
• Interact with several other internal organizations (Design, Business and Customer Engineering)
• Develop and maintain effective working relationship with other departments and key local partners
• Perform on-site coordination of debug and project meetings.
• Collaborate on or assume responsibility for a specific project, or a definable portion of a larger project or process
• Other duties as necessary
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years experience in semiconductor product development, preferably CPUs or GPUs
• Experience managing project details especially around development and execution lifecycle
• Experience using standard apps (i.e. Office mainly Excel), Windows Operating Systems to manage schedule, status updates
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with geographically distributed product engineering teams
• Experience with external partner code development
• Experience maintaining status and reporting on multiple, diverse issues in parallel
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Courses or certifications in project management (e.g. PMI, AGILE)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering or equivalent experience, preferred
