Technical Designer – Intimates/Apparel Contract | 3 Months | Onsite (Manhattan, NY 10038)
Pay Range: $40–$45 per hour (W2)
We are seeking a Senior Technical Designer to join our intimates/apparel team on a contract basis. You will play a critical part in ensuring the fit, comfort, and quality of our products while collaborating closely with design and cross-functional partners.
Ensure products meet established fit, quality, manufacturer capability, and cost standards.
Communicate approvals and corrections to vendors/factories.
Partner with factories to ensure prototypes maintain design integrity while meeting quality and cost targets.
Provide guidance to Assistant/Associate Technical Designers as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience.
~ Proficiency in Centric PLM, Excel, Illustrator, and Flex PLM.
~ Collaborative, approachable, and agile in a fast-paced environment.
~ Strong examples of detailed fit comments provided to factories/vendors.
Experience balancing design intent with cost and manufacturing capabilities.
Volunteer or community service involvement.
Ability to handle fast-paced project timelines with flexibility and professionalism.
