Project Manager (Superintendent-to-PM
Transition)
Location: Denver Metro Area (with travel required)
Compensation: $85,000+ annually, plus company vehicle or vehicle allowance, benefits

Our client is a Colorado-based General Contractor and Construction Manager with extensive
experience in commercial construction including education, office, mixed-use, higher education,
industrial, multi-family, hospitality, and more. We are a collaborative team that values

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Superintendent ready to transition into a Project
Manager role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field leader who has
successfully managed complex construction projects on-site and is ready to take on full project
management responsibilities. The right candidate will combine strong field supervision skills
with the ability to oversee project budgets, schedules, client relationships, and overall execution.
Responsibilities
• Provide management oversight on all phases of assigned construction projects.
• Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, and field staff to ensure on-time, on-budget,
and high-quality project delivery.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and maintain strong relationships with trade partners.
• Conduct project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Review and interpret construction documents for accuracy and constructability.
• Generate RFIs, review submittals, and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and manage site safety plans.
• Prepare and distribute project reports, meeting minutes, and updates.
• Support preconstruction activities, including estimating and proposals, as needed.
• Travel as required to job sites throughout Colorado and occasionally nationwide.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years in a
supervisory/superintendent role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred,
not required with equivalent experience).
• Strong technical skills: proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Sage, and Bluebeam;
MS Project experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and jobsite logistics.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Denver Metro area.
