Ellaway Blues Consulting is hiring: Project Manager in Union City

Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in commercial HVAC and mechanical construction who thrives on tackling complex designs, fast-paced schedules, and unique project challenges. In this role, you’ll manage projects both large and small—sometimes coordinating multiple jobs at once—while providing leadership to project engineers and partnering closely with field teams to deliver exceptional results.

This position requires strong judgment, the ability to work independently within established processes, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll take ownership of project outcomes while rolling up your sleeves when needed to ensure milestones are achieved. What You’ll Do

• Build strong client relationships by providing regular project updates and progress reports.
• Manage project financials, including budget reports, cost analysis, revenue forecasting, and change orders.
• Lead and participate in project meetings with stakeholders and internal departments.
• Ensure scope, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved across all assigned projects.
• Delegate assignments, mentor project engineers, and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Partner with subcontractors and cross-functional teams to ensure flawless project execution.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years of project management experience in mechanical or HVAC construction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and coordinate multiple projects.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent financial acumen and project management expertise.
• Proficiency in subcontractor management, CADD, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
