SL Recruit is hiring: Construction Project Manager in Fairfax County

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare construction projects ranging from $5M–$50M+
• Collaborate closely with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams from preconstruction through closeout
• Ensure compliance with health-specific codes, standards, and infection control protocols
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Provide mentorship to assistant project managers and field staff
• Promote a safety-first culture and uphold exceptional standards of quality

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 2 years in healthcare (hospitals, outpatient facilities, medical office buildings, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and other construction management tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead with professionalism under pressure and maintain long-term client relationships
