Develops new business by contacting prospects and clients, and by cross-selling Bank products and services that include credit, trust/investment and cash management. Participates and provides leadership in Bank and community activities to increase Bank’s brand visibility and to enhance new business opportunities. Applies deep expertise in bank products, processes and systems to ensure a high-quality client experience and effective problem solving. May coordinate closing with closing department, clients and attorneys. Serves as a daily escalation resource to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. Advises clients on loan products, options, rates, terms and collateral requirements. Advises business clients on cash management/deposits solutions and on business management and other financial matters where possible. Develops and manages Commercial banking relationships and plans for prospective clients; may include focused calling and pipeline management activities. Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders. Provides oversight, monitoring, and reporting specific to assigned business group for regulatory remediation. Analyzes financial and related data to determine client needs for proper structuring of the Bank's products and services. Monitors and tracks performance, addresses issues, and ensures proper documentation for loans and cash management services. Reviews loan applications and cash management service agreements for completeness and accuracy; submits applications to appropriate departments for timely processing. Evaluates and structures loan requests, determining appropriate documentation for approved loans; negotiates terms including costs, repayment method, and collateral requirements. Ensures extension of credit and delivery of cash management services comply with corporate policies and pricing guidelines. Follows up after closing to ensure all documents are completed and filed. Acts as daily sales contact for clients on product information, pricing, implementation timeframes and requirements; gathers data to advance the sales process and completes required documentation. Assists with pre-sales activities such as pitch preparation and client research; prepares prospect and client files for action and tracks implementation requests to maintain timelines. Provides research and data to support the sales team; helps ensure a seamless client experience and identifies opportunities. Maintains current client information in bank systems to ensure accurate client history and billing. Focus may be on a specific business/group within BMO with potential enterprise-wide considerations. Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support and exercises judgment within defined rules. Works independently and handles non-routine situations; broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications
Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. If a Credit Qualifiable job, credit qualifications and associated credit knowledge according to established standards. Salary and Benefits Salary: $88,800.00 - $165,600.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents the expected target for the first year.
