The Manager of Logistics & Warehouse Operations is responsible for the Mid-Atlantic region’s logistics and warehouse operations including receiving, packaging, dispatching, inventory management, and staff leadership.
A successful candidate has strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory management principles, in addition to experience developing and implementing SOPs and best practice. Collaborate and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., carriers, suppliers) to ensure seamless and timely product flow Oversee and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipped goods, ensuring efficient storage and stock management Develop and manage budgets for shipping-related expenses and negotiate transportation agreements with carriers Supervise, train, and manage logistics department staff, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and company policies Evaluate, develop, and track key performance indicators
***** Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics software; ability to adapt to new technologies quickly Lives within 45-minutes of Mount Airy, MD and ability to work on-site daily Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipments, documentation, and compliance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address any shipping issues and optimize processes
