Technical Designer

We are seeking highly experienced Senior Technical Designers to lead the technical development of garments from concept through production, ensuring premium standards for fit, construction, and quality. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, vendor communication, and cross-functional collaboration. ***** Create detailed tech packs with specifications, construction methods, and quality standards Lead fit sessions and provide actionable feedback to maintain consistent fit and performance Communicate fit comments and track/manage development milestones Partner with Design, Product Development, and Production to align with brand vision Collaborate with vendors/factories on sample requests and technical questions Identify and resolve construction issues and quality concerns Maintain current fit standards, construction documentation, and sample tracking Issue final graded specs for assigned categories Support product improvement initiatives in partnership with senior leadership ***** 8+ years of experience in technical design, preferably in high-end or performance apparel Degree in Fashion Design or Technical Design (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred) Strong knowledge of fit, garment construction, patternmaking, and grading for knits and wovens Familiarity with PSD systems (Optitex, Gerber) and PLM platforms preferred Proficiency in 3D design software (Browzwear, CLO) a plus Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet calendar deadlines Willingness to travel internationally for vendor visits and production support Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for sample handling and fit preparation
