We’re looking for a versatile, hands-on leader to join our small but rapidly growing firm as Director of Operations. In this highly visible role, you’ll work directly with senior leadership to oversee and improve our internal business operations while serving as a strategic partner to ownership on how best to scale the company.
Beyond guiding growth initiatives, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions that keep the firm running smoothly — including administration, HR, finance/light accounting, and marketing. Partner with ownership and outside accountants on budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management; monitor project profitability and internal KPIs. Vendor & Partner *****
Negotiate and manage contracts with outside consultants, subcontractors, and service providers to optimize cost and quality. Technology & Process *****
Evaluate and deploy technology solutions (project management tools, CRM, HRIS, accounting software) to streamline operations. Marketing & Business Development *****
Coordinate proposal preparation, marketing campaigns, website updates, and client communications in concert with leadership. Compliance & Risk *****
Ensure adherence to legal, insurance, and licensing requirements; create internal controls to minimize risk as the firm grows. Leadership *****
Serve as a sounding board for ownership on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and new service lines, providing data-driven recommendations. Office & Resource *****
