Construction Estimator

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for Industrial Construction Projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation. This role plays a critical part in helping the company win bids and manage budgets effectively. Bids are done manually, but there is an opportunity to utilize estimating software.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial construction projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to develop estimates.
• Assist in winning bids by providing detailed and competitive estimates.
• Manage budgets effectively through careful cost analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and costs.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as ProEst, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and commercial construction.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Memphis, Arkansas.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
