The Role The Steward or Dishwasher is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware. This person must have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight.

This is a fast-paced position that may involve some customer interaction. Stewards may also assist with plating food for events and therefore, Food handlers Certification is required.

Open availability, including weekends and holidays is required for this shift.

Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Support catering and banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and ready for events. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
