We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at Bronson Behavioral Health , a 96-bed facility that uses state-of-the-art technology to provide exceptional behavioral healthcare to adults age 18 years and older.

Bronson Behavioral is located in Battle Creek, Michigan, which is about 20 miles from multiple cities, such as Marshall, Albion, and Hastings. Our large campus is set in the middle of a field surrounded by a wooded border that changes from green to yellow and red in the fall. Those who receive treatment at Bronson can enjoy this serene backdrop as part of their life-changing care. We also ensure that patients have time to take advantage of the inspiring setting, whether by viewing it from our modern facility windows or taking in the fresh air outside.

Overview:

Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
