Head of Business Development, OEMs - Remote | Washington D.C. - Autonomy & Navigation Tech

As Head of OEM Business Development, you'll be the commercial architect; identifying and scaling strategic partnerships with platform manufacturers and systems integrators. If you know how to take a breakthrough product from pilot to platform-wide adoption, this is your chance to lead from the front.

Key Responsibilities

Own commercial strategy for OEM and Tier 1 partnerships

Build and manage relationships with airframe manufacturers and primes

Take responsibility for partner success - from technical scoping through deployment

Shape and negotiate long-term agreements covering licensing, data sharing, and integration

Be the voice of the customer internally, ensuring alignment between partners and product

Represent the company externally with credibility, confidence, and vision

Key Requirements

10+ years in aerospace, defence tech, or autonomy-related BD or partnerships

Experience selling or integrating complex systems (avionics, ISR, autonomy platforms, etc.)

Strong understanding of how OEMs and Tier 1s operate and how to work with them

Strategic mindset, but able to execute quickly in a startup environment

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Able to travel regularly across the US
