Position Overview A leading global life sciences organization is seeking a

Materials Planner

to ensure the timely availability of materials to support production schedules. This role partners with supply chain, procurement, and scheduling teams to maintain accurate material plans, manage inventory levels, and support supply chain optimization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Convert planned orders into material plans, ensuring accurate and timely material requirements. Maintain material planning parameters and systems to reflect current production needs. Collaborate with Supply Planners, Schedulers, and Procurement teams to resolve material availability issues. Generate and manage KPIs to monitor material readiness and inventory health. Track, report, and escalate risks to material availability impacting production schedules. Support initiatives to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve supply chain efficiency. Ensure timely testing, release, and mobilization of materials to meet production timelines. Required Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, or inventory management. Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint required). Familiarity with planning or ERP systems for materials management. Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Business Intelligence tools for data extraction and reporting. Previous work in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments. Knowledge of inventory optimization strategies and safety stock planning. Work Environment Hybrid role with onsite collaboration required for critical meetings and processes.
