The Role

We’re looking for an

Engineering Leader

who can

align, structure, and scale

our engineering org while staying deeply technical. We’re looking to build an org that runs at the speed of physics. You’ll: Translate the product roadmap into engineering execution.

Drive velocity by parallelizing work and unblocking constraints.

Get into the code when it matters.

Hire, mentor and grow top engineers into leaders.

Partner with product and design to ship with taste and speed.

What You’ll Do

Scale engineering culture

– Build and lead an org that operates at extreme velocity.

Own architecture decisions

– Balance speed, scalability, and reliability.

Spec product work

– Work directly with the CTO, founders, and product leads to scope, prioritize, and ship.

Manage velocity

– Remove bottlenecks, shorten iteration cycles, and accelerate shipping.

Grow the team

– Attract and level up world-class engineers who thrive in this environment.

What We’re Looking For

Consumer product experience

– Built and scaled consumer-facing apps with taste and user obsession.

Startup leadership

– Been through 0→1 and 1→100 at a high-growth consumer company.

Engineering leadership

– Scaled beyond the founding team without losing velocity.

Technical depth

– Strong coding background, comfortable reviewing and making architecture calls.

Velocity mindset

– Moves at an extreme pace, unblocks, parallelizes, and accelerates work.

Based in San Francisco

– Thrives in a fast-moving, in-person culture.
